Our hope is that the model we have created for TEAN can be reproduced by other communities. We have been delighted to assist several towns here in Maine in developing a system that is based on the ideas of TEAN but tailored to meet the needs of other communities. We welcome collaborations and can be reached at emergencyactionnetwork@gmail.com or via the form below.

Getting started
♦ Find a small group of leaders who will help you organize in your community. Our model has relied on cooperation with our school district and other organizations to avoid duplications of effort.
♦ Reach out to school nurses, principals and central office administrators to find our if they are willing to collaborate with your group. In order to preserve the privacy of children and families receiving donations, a school staff may be in a good position to make referral to your organization, and receive the donations to ensure that they get to their intended recipients.
♦ Talk to parents and friends in your community to see if they would be willing to join the group and support children and families in need.
